Aviso attend Merchant Payments Ecosystem 2013, Berlin

Merchant Payments Ecosystem took place in Berlin from 12th-14th February, and is seen as one of the most important conferences in Europe where all actors in the payments industry can meet to discuss newest innovations in the sector.

The conference provided Aviso with an excellent opportunity to hear what kind of challenges – and indeed opportunities – a broad range of merchants, acquirers, PSPs, and processors are facing.

A common theme during the event was the issue of connectivity – where organisations handling payments are needing to make changes to their payment architectures in order to enable new functionality, or to offer new services. This clear message was encouraging for Aviso – as our key offering is to help our customers to achieve greater connectivity, while making the most of their existing technology investment.

Managing Director of Aviso, Denis McCarthy said, “Aviso are extremely happy to be at MPE 2013, where we have had the opportunity to discuss our initial implementation of Novate with current – and potential – customers. It has also echoed the view that in order to be competitive, organisations need more flexible payment switching software that will enable the innovative front-end opportunities – something which we can truly help with.”
